A 2 km wide river flows East to West. Exxon has a plant on the North bank and another on the South bank that is 6 km down river. In tens of thousands of dollars, it cost $40 per km to run the pipe over land along the North bank and twice that to run it under the river. Assuming all pipes are run in straight lines, find the best point to cross from the North bank to the South plant.
