A rectangular plate has two holes of dimensions shown and is released from the position. The plate is hinged about a horizontal axis and can rotate in the vertical plane. An external moment of magnitude 110 N-m is applied in the counter clockwise direction as shown. A frictional moment of magnitude 10 N-m resists the rotation. The specific weight of the material is 250 lbs / ft3. Assume uniform density.
