There seems to be a serious problem among the nursing staff on the acute care unit at West Memorial Hospital. The unit manager has just received the employee opinion survey results for the past year and is shocked to find that the questions related to "respect among employees" and "open communication among employees" were scored in the 45th percentile. The nursing satisfaction scores on the NDNQI survey are also extremely low in comparison to other nursing units at West Memorial Hospital.
