Instructions
Becoming a team member requires an open thought process and a willingness to cooperate. Members must be willing to participate collaboratively with a group of people to accomplish a task.

Read Chapters 3-4 in the textbook by Maxwell.
Read pages 28-115 in the textbook by Lencioni.
Write a 1-page response entry giving your understanding, insights, and foundations to why becoming a team member is important in the work force, church, home setting or any other area you believe you will work in teams.

Identify personal characteristics of a valuable team member.

Instructions
Team members must be open-minded, collaborative, and willing to consider others ideas and perspectives. Honest, ethical, cooperative, engaging, and responsible are additional characteristics of a valuable team member.

Create a list of at least 15 characteristics that you believe is important for a team member.
Compile a 1- page listing the characteristics, justifying why each of the characteristics is important.
