Background:

This portion of the project should provide background on your organization. This includes a final mission statement, a final vision statement, a hierarchical structure plan, and a description of the core functions.

For hierarchical structure, either explain or create a proposed hierarchy for your IO. Be sure to explain why you chose that structure and why you think it will work in your organization.

Core functions, you should explain how the organization will accomplish its mission. For example, two organizations may share the same mission of reducing hunger in Africa. One organization may do so by lobbying for increases in foreign aid, while the other may do technological research on irrigation techniques.

The core functions section of the paper should be extensive and should describe how inputs are converted into outputs. Be descriptive about how you differ from other organizations that have attempted to address this issue or how you will solve a problem that has been previously unaddressed. Through this section, you should show me that you understand the problem and what is needed to make a change.

At this point, you will be solidifying your plan.
