This activity will allow you to research information that supports the important aspects of ethics in research. This is especially true in terms of setting up and facilitating the research design. This makes the findings ethically anchored and adds to the validity of the findings, no matter what they may suggest.

Create a PowerPoint presentation that is composed of the following sections. It will be important to refer to both the readings completed during your last module, as well as what you have learned in this week's readings. You are to tie the understanding of research methodology to the following of ethical rules and regulations.

A. Explain the importance of ethics in research.

B. Describe the different parts of the 'Chapter 3: Methodology' section of a dissertation and how ethics may be a driving force in each of the below different parts when preparing a study. The sections should include:

1. Research Design
2. Population and Sample
3. Procedures
4. Instrumentation
5. Data Collection
6. Data Analysis
7. Assumptions or other Limitations

You will include a brief explanation of the listed section in your presentation at the bottom of each slide and then explain how the researcher includes an understanding of ethics in preparing and completing this process.

Remember, when preparing the PowerPoint slides, you should limit the number of words used on each slide and, if possible, use representative pictures and/or the use of shapes/SmartArt options. The majority of wordy explanations should go in the speaker notes section of the respective slide. If you use some pictures or graphics, be sure that you give credit to where they were found by placing the URL in the references section.

The presentation should be between 12 to 15 slides, not including the title and reference slides.
