Question: The character Okonkwo serves as the main character in Chinua Achebe's depiction of Igbo traditions and lifestyle in the late 1800s. The story shows a fast-modernizing environment as English colonization gains ground. The tribes are afraid in the face of an enemy who does not care about or respect Igbo traditions. The presentation's main emphasis will be on how Christianity and English colonialism have affected Igbo society.

After revising it a bit and feedback from my instructor I was told the thesis is more of a topic so I've come up with the following:

Achebe's novella Things Fall Apart includes the arrogant warrior Okonkwo, who is especially bad at adjusting to the world as it changes. His ideas and thoughts about masculinity prevented him from making important choices that might have helped him advance in life. The story's conclusion emphasizes Okonkwo's failure to survive in a society that was thought to be in charge.
