To be an entrepreneur takes courage to take risks, perseverance, and focused on creating a product or service that will hopefully be in high demand. Entrepreneurs encompass many skills that include hard and soft skills. Hard skills include (for example) technical knowledge, analytical, marketing, etc. Soft skills include (for example) personality, leadership, communication, etc.

Daykin (2018) suggests the following skills of an entrepreneur: "...concept of competence, proficiency, attributes and the ability to do something well. Skills are closely connected to knowledge, expertise, and capability" (para. 2). On the other hand, the articles also states that there is no particular formula for being a successful entrepreneur but having a mixture of skills may place you in a good position. The article suggests an endless list of skills and qualities entrepreneurs can possess, such as competitive, strategic decision maker, problem-solver, and open minded (para. 3-4). In my opinion, you also have to have the right attitude.
