Purpose:

The purpose of this assignment is to create a 5-7 minute e-learning hospitality employee training session on a specific task using two or more digital applications.

Skills: As a result of completing this assignment, you will learn two or more digital applications that can be used in training both online and face to face.
Knowledge: Students will gain knowledge of company training processes and digital applications used in training within the hospitality industry.
Task:

Using the concepts learned in the class, each student will develop a 5-7 minutes training session of a skill a hospitality employee would complete daily. In order to complete this assignment you will create a video, video podcast, audio podcast with a presentation (separate files) , or a presentation that includes audio.

Choose a task from the list for your e-learning training session. List of tasks follow the assignment.
Select 2 or more digital applications to use in creating your e-learning training session. One application must be an audio application for communicating the training verbally. List of applications follow the assignment.
Complete an outline of your project and submit to Dr. Sammons by Monday of Week 5.
This outline should include
a) the list of applications and how they will be used,
b) a minimum of two references for your project and
c) a minimum of three bullet points you will cover in the training session.
