Case: Americans are drinking more bottled water than ever (even outselling soft drinks since 2017). This poses a challenge to soft drink companies such as Pepsi and Coca Cola. Coca Cola responded by creating the lower-priced water brand Dasani (#1 in the U.S. water market) while Pepsi owns Aquafina water (#2 in the U.S.). In addition, Coca Cola owns Smartwater (a successful premium water brand) leading Pepsi to introduce its own premium water brand "LIFEWTR" in 2017. LIFEWTR will be priced at around $2.70 for a 1-liter bottle.

Explains how Pepsi will differentiate LIFEWTR through electrolytes, purification by reverse osmosis, and textured labels designed by emerging artists.
