Case: It's the battle of the two largest buy & sell platforms in Ontario, Facebook Marketplace vs Kijiji!

Since 2005, Kijiji has been the go-to destination to post a classified listing or to buy & sell products. For more than 10 years, Kijiji dominated online buy & sell as there was little to no competition until Facebook introduced Marketplace in 2016. Facebook's entry into the local selling market brought new innovations like user profiles from existing Facebook accounts, social selling by posting your item to your existing Facebook network/friends and utilizing pre-existing regional Facebook Buy & Sell groups.
