Discuss the six segments of the general environment. Provide examples of how Companies might be affected by something happening in each of the segments. The examples can be different companies for the different segments, or you can choose a single company to discuss the six segments. I need a good example to provide for this. I know the six segments, but am drawing a blank

There are six segments listed as follows--

1) Demographic Segment--The region consists of people from different ethnic groups like Maoris, Europeans, Asians and Pacific Islanders with lots of immigrants from different parts of the world.

2) Socio Cultural Segment--It consists of diverse set of people in the workplace who helps in the company's success in the Global Market. The employees face a lot of challenges in order to meet the Company's goals and objectives.

3) Economic Segment--It depends on the nation's economic condition in the World Market.

4) Legal Segment--This segment is dependent on its own governance objectives, policies, taxation laws and regulations for its employees.

5) Technological Segment--There are a lots of new technologies and innovations being created at a very fact pace. So the company must learn the new technology very fast so as to adopt the new technology.

6) Global Segment--This segment expands the organisation globally so that it can gain a competitive advantage over its competitors when they have a global presence in the industry.
