Use the product rule for differentiation to find derivatives in each of the following: I will understand your answer better if you use the formula we are using in school:

 If f(x)=u(x) . v(x), and if u'(x) and v'(x) both exist, then f'(x) = u(x) . v' (x) + (v(x) . u' (x).  The "dot" indicates (multiplication).  Please help by showing steps.  Thanks.

(a) f(x)=(x^2+2x+3)(x^3+3x^2+4x)

(b) f(x)=(sqrt x+2)(3x^2-2)

(c) f(x)=2 / x^2 + 1/ X + 3x)  (3x-1) (this function should be understood as follows 2 over x squared plus 1 over x plus 3x.  Times what's in the second group of parenthesis (3x squared negative 1).

Please contact me if you have any questions about the way the problems are written.
