Portofolio Project #1:

This is the first assignment of the portfolio project. As a chef/manager you will be expected to lead your team and develop policies and procedures that are critical to the success of the business. Nothing is more important than staff health safety.

You are the chef/manager of the Puma Bar and Grill. You took over and are concerned that there are no policies and procedures that address employee health and personal hygiene. Do research on the internet and develop a written policy that address restaurant hygiene issues (bathing, handwashing, jewelry, etc) as well as illness, specifically the "Big 6." You should address when to report illnesses and when it is safe to return to work.

Your submission should cover all of the above and more. It should be uploaded as a Word Document (you have access through Office 365). It should be professional in tone and format. I suggest using Grammerly to check spelling and grammar. Do not cut and paste - the plagerism check is on and any more than 30% will automatically cost 25% of your score.
