Develop an evaluation tool to assess the progress of your supervisee. The instrument should be rooted in a theoretical framework. Be sure to include all areas of the supervisee's learning. Write down objectives that will be used to assess performance. Also, describe how often the supervisee will be evaluated and if these evaluations are different in detail and length from each other. Once completed, administer the instrument to a supervisor to assess the instrument's validity by comparing the results to your own qualitative assessment. Also, be sure to include your opinion regarding the effectiveness of evaluation instruments in providing supervision and developing employees.
