Develop a Public Service Announcement

Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to research a specific topic related to gender and create a public service announcement to inform others about it.

Instructions: public service announcement (PSA) video about a current topic on gender. The facts you use in your PSA must be backed up by scientific literature NOT by personal blogs, magazine sites, most basic web searches, Wikipedia, etc.

Note: You do not need to post your video on a public site (like YouTube) is you do not want to. You can create a video using any streaming or video service and provide the link in the submission link box which only the instructor will have access to.

PSA specifics:

Clearly state the topic and why it is important that a group of people take action on this topic.
Clearly identify 2 current research facts from 2 different peer reviewed journal articles (no older than 2015) to use in your PSA to support your topic. You must find somewhere in your PSA to cite your sources. I suggest 2-3 different facts from a different source each.
The PSA should be eye-catching, interesting, creative, relevant to our course, and align with current research. It should be between 50-70 seconds.
