Case: Research a specific management career in the tourism industry and develop a career path. It should begin with describing a management position in the industry and the steps of how one would reach that position. The paper should include the location of the job, a short description of the job responsibilities, indicate an appropriate salary, and the requirements to obtain the job (i.e., education, experience in specific jobs, etc.). It should include two examples from LinkedIn of real people that are currently in the same position.

Headings for the paper must include the following:

1. Introduction: What the paper will cover.
2. Career Goal - what the career goal is. Be as specific as possible. If a manager in a hotel, describe what type of hotel and location. Describe the job responsibilities, requirements (certifications, experience), type of company, and salary range.
3. Plan and timeline to reach the career goal - describe the steps involved in reaching the goal. What the co-op or summer jobs may be, as well as the jobs after graduation. Any other certifications that may help to reach the goal? Use a diagram here to show the timeline and the career progression. An example will be provided in the class and in the Power Point.
4. Good and bad points about the job.
5. Examples of real people in the position - two people including their LinkedIn links and a short description of their career progression.
