Case Study: Behind the scenes, Netflix uses complex data and research to conduct meaningful analyses and gain further insights to strengthen their business strategies and improve their services (Netflix TechBlog, 2020). In addition to Netflix standard research and data collection, the consultant designed a survey that will be used to further collect data from relevant markets as part of the organizational development project. An initial survey will be distributed via email amongst a random sample group of current subscribers and prospective subscribers. Rather than utilize a particular software to interpret results which can be costly and have its own unintended bias, the random sample will be limited to a specified amount in each group to ensure OD practitioners have the capacity to analyze and interpret survey results. The survey will consist of ten (10) short-answer questions (see Appendix B) of both qualitative and quantitative measures.

Following the collection of surveys, the consultant will review the short answer responses from the survey to determine correlations and patterns that identify risks and loss of revenue, in addition to existing criteria and measures that have made the company successful.
