Help develop a Lean Six Sigma project proposal using a DMAIC cycle format of paper. The goal of this lean six sigma project is to improve the education system by making it more efficient and effective. The system will achieve this by reducing waste, improving communication, and increasing customer satisfaction. The goal is to make the education system more responsive to the needs of students, parents, and teachers.

The following part needs to be addressed. For the IMPROVE phase, address: Based on the process analysis so far and the problem(s) that are considered, what types of improvements should be considered? Describe the brainstorming methods and strategy for organizing and implementing the improvement ideas. Who do researchers need to talk to? What needs to change? How will implementation of an improvement happen? What resources are necessary? For the CONTROL phase, discuss how researchers will monitor progress over time? How will leaders sustain the change? How will leaders adjust, if needed.

The writing piece should follow this type of outline:

Introduction - this should be a general introduction to the organization/industry

Define - this is the description of the specific process and problem, including the SMART goal statement

Measure - this is the data collection strategy that links to the specific problem/process.

Analyze - this is the analyze strategy focused on the specific measures/data collected

Improve - this is the improvement strategy based on the previous steps, which can include assumptions (if researches do not have actual data yet) and/or brainstorming ideas.

Control - this is the control strategy for monitoring performance after the change. If researchers assume that their implement some/all the improvements, how do researchers ensure these improvements are utilized properly? How do researchers monitor performance over time?

Conclusions (or Next Steps) - this is a final paragraph that states the next steps for pursuing this project, the approvals researchers might need to get started, and/or the expectations for implementation success. researchers could also talk about experience or lessons-learned from putting together this proposal.

Appendix - typically used to show visual supports like Flowcharts, Fishbone diagrams, or PICK charts.
