Each of the variables listed in Problem 1.7 can be brought under feedback control. Describe an actuator that could accept an electrical input and be used to control the variables listed. Give the units of the actuator output signal.
Problem 1.7
Feedback control requires being able to sense the variable being controlled. Because electrical signals can be transmitted, amplified, and processed easily, often we want to have a sensor whose output is a voltage or current proportional to the variable being measured. Describe a sensor that would give an electrical output proportional to:
(a) Temperature
(B) pressure
(c) liquid level
(d) flow of liquid along a pipe (or blood along an artery) force
(e) linear position
(f) rotational position
(g) linear velocity
(h) rotational speed
(i) translational acceleration
(j) torque
To demonstrate the use of subroutines, e.g. initialize the peripheral registers and to set the time delays, etc. To demonstrate ASCII code conversion. To demonstrate the use of indexed addressing to retrieve data from a table in memory.
Briefly describe the four generations of computer programming languages, concentrating on the major differences among the generations. How does object-oriented programming fit into these generations? How does HTML fit into these generations?
If possible, give examples of: a) A graph with 4 vertices whose degrees are 1, 2, 3 and 3. b) A graph with 6 vertices whose degrees are 2, 4, 3, 3, 4 and 5. If it is not possible, explain why.

As your text explains, there are four different approaches to systems integration: data, application interface, method, and user interface. Each approach has its benefits and drawbacks. In this assignment, you will evaluate each of the four approa..
In a multifile, object-oriented C++ project, which is the correct statement for the constructor implementation, given that the constructor is correctly defined in the class definition file?
From the first e-Activity, identify the specific manufacture and model of one (1) magnetic disk, one (1) solid state drive, and one (1) optical drive.
Write a program that reads N points in a plane and outputs any group of four or more colinear points (i.e., points on the same line). The obvious brute-force algorithm requires O(N4) time. However, there is a better algorithm that makes use of sort..
