o demonstrate competency, a candidate must meet the performance criteria of this unit by coordinating recruitment in three different scenarios.

A person who demonstrates competency in this unit must:

Demonstrate the process for screening and interviewing a candidate
Communicate effectively with clients and successful and unsuccessful candidates
Review job descriptions and use them to support sourcing, selecting and appointing suitable staff
Consult with relevant stakeholders to gain approvals
Develop selection criteria and interview questions in consultation with relevant stakeholders
Obtain referees' reports
Provide a written report or demonstration of an assessment of a candidate's skills and selection recommendation
Secure preferred candidate's agreement and provide an employment contract.
Use the templates provided to document the process and return them with any supporting evidence to your assessor.

Task:

You (the learner) to coordinate the recruitment process for an organization.

The Springvale High School is opening a new campus for disabled and special children. The management wants to recruit new faculty comprising of 15 numbers of academic teacher, 04 therapists and a psychiatrist. You as Human Resource manager have been given a job to pre pare and review job descriptions and use them to support sourcing, selecting and appointing suitable staff. Develop selection criteria and interview questions in consultation with relevant stakeholders. Demonstrate the process for screening and interviewing a candidate. Provide a written report or demonstration of an assessment of a candidate's skills and selection recommendation. Communicate effectively with clients and successful and unsuccessful candidates. Consult with relevant stakeholders to gain approvals. Obtain referees' reports. Secure preferred candidate's agreement and provide an employment contract and advise relevant stakeholders of new appointment, including start date. You are advised to submit a report including all the details of the recruitment process along with, job descriptions, screening methods adopted, interview questions, referees' reports, offer letters, rejection letters and job agreement. Submit this report for the assessment.
