Welcome to Module Four - Data and Process Modeling
The next phase in the project development cycle is to develop a logical model of the system based on the system requirements. The first step is about the "what" step. We need to show what the system will do, without worrying about how it will do it. Various graphical tools can be used to describe the system, including DFDs or Data Flow Diagrams. This week, the goal is to examine data and process modeling techniques. You will then explore a logical model reflecting what the system must do and not how the system will be physically implemented. The learning objective of this week are:
Class, make sure to read the fifth chapter of the textbook. There are two assignments this week. First a homework activity based on a section found at the end of Chapter 5 in your textbook, reference Mini Case 2 and Mini Case 3. Then, you need to turn in your Project Plan, as your Final Project Milestone #2. For additional details, please refer to the Module Four Homework Activity Guidelines and Rubric document in the Assignment Guidelines and Rubrics section of the course.
Universalist rationality theory supposes that actors within an institution are rational. They function with their own material interests in mind, maximizing efficiency and resources.
Develop a flowchart associated with an HIIM Department
Babylonian Algorithm. The Babylonian algorithm to compute the square root of a positive number n is as given:
Your network's traffic load is very high all times, day and night. What kind of switching do you configure switch to use?
Today ISDN cost $40 every month for BRI service which includes 1 D Channel and 2 B Channels. Every channel is capable of transmitting 64kbps of voice, data, video or fax for a total of 128 kbps.
Demonstrate a decision tree or table
Implement the array-based stack class - Use it in the client code to convert an infix expression into post-fix expression, and compute the result.
Assuming both integer and pointer occupies 4 bytes each, Array implementation of the queue requires Blank 1_______ bytes and the linked list implementation of the stack requires Blank 2_____bytes.
Describe how the use of primitives helps remove ambiguities in an algorithm's representation.
What is the annual compound interest rate
Insert 5, 1, 3, 6, 2, 4 into an initially empty splay tree and show the resulting tree - Can you provide some help with my Java language project? I hope someone nice out there can help me with it.
conduct time complexity analysis of the algorithm (and also mention best case and worst case analysis if applicable).
