Assignment - Roles in the PMLC
Given the Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC), create a table that identifies the roles most likely to be used during that each phase of the PMLC with a justification of each role in that particular phase. Your table should contain three columns: PMLC Phase, Business Analyst Role (see page viii in Business Analysis: Best Practices for Success for a list of roles), and Justification. The table should demonstrate your understanding of the shifting and multiple roles that you, as an analyst, will manage during the life of a project. You should have at least three roles for each phase; roles need not be unique to a phase, but all roles should be represented in the table.
Be sure to properly organize your writing and include an introduction, headings / subheadings for the body of your work, an analysis and recommendations (if applicable), a conclusion, and a list of references. Consult the assignment template for a more complete list of requirements.
Your paper should be, at a minimum, one page in length, include a cover page and reference page. Include at least three scholarly references in addition to the course textbook.
