1. Generate a table of conversions from miles to kilometers. Use Input command to allow the user to enter the starting miles, the increment and the final value of miles. For example: enter the following values of miles when prompted = 1:1:10

Conversion between miles to kilometers: 1 mile = 1.6 kilometers

Use disp and fprintf to create a table with a title, column headings and appropriate spacing.

2. Create and plot the function g which satisfies the following criteria:

x = -2*pi:pi/1000:2*pi

For x<-pi, g(x) = 0

For x>=-pi & x<=pi, g(x) = sin(x)

For x>pi, g(x) = 0

Plot g versus x.

3. Create a program that prompts user to enter their salary in dollars. Use input command to enter the salary. If salary is less than or equal to 25000, then display 'your tax rate is 0%' in the command window. If salary is greater than 25000 and less than or equal to 50000, then display 'your tax rate is 10%' in the command window. If salary is greater than 50000 and less than 100000, then display 'your tax rate is 25%' in the command window. If your salary is greater than or equal to 100000, then display 'your tax rate is 35%' in the command window. You can use if/else structure to write the program. (20 pts)

4. Create a program that prompts user to enter the type of room for hotel reservation. Use input command to enter the type of room. Use switch/case structure to write the program. (20 pts)

Case 'king size single bed' display 'Room rate is $75'

Case 'king size double bed' display 'Room rate is $95'

Case 'queen size single bed' display 'Room rate is $45'

Case 'queen size double bed' display 'Room rate is $60'

Otherwise display 'Not in the List' (Use's' in input command)

5. A Fibonacci sequence is composed of elements created by adding the two previous elements. Below is the simplest Fibonacci sequence.

1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55.

Create a program to print above sequence in the command window. Use 'For' loop to implement the logic given in the first line. Total numbers in the above sequence are 10.

 You should start script with saving first two numbers in a vector i.e. a(1)=1;a(2)=1;a(3)  to a(10) should be calculated using For loop.

6. Use a while loop to calculate the members of Leibniz formula for π until it converges.

 1- (1/3) + (1/5) - (1/7) + (1/9) - ··· = π/4  

Using summation notation, n=0(-1)n/2n+1. You have to implement this summation using while loop.

Caution: 'n' starts from zero instead of 1. So if using variable 'k' just like in example 9.5, use 'k-1' instead of k while calculating y(k). At the end of script, use total(end) to display the result in command window. It should be equal to π/4.
