Task 1: Graphing

Giving the digits from your S number, substitute their values into the following functions. If (E + 1) is even number, K = +1; if (E+1) is and odd number, K is -1.

Show all your calculations to obtain your two equations:
Function 1:
Function 2:

A B C D E F G
S 5 0 2 5 4 1 7

Using these functions,

1. Graph 1: Plot both function 1 and function 2 together in the same graph in the domain of.

2. Graph 2: Plot the product (function 1) x (function 2) in a second graph over the same domain.

Task 2: Linear Functions

Using the digits from your S number, substitute their values in the following coordinate points:

1. Equation 1. Find the equation of the line for these coordinate points, showing all your working.

2. Equation 2. Find the equation of the line that is parallel to Equation 1, and passes through the point (D, B).

3. Equation 3. Find the equation of the line that is perpendicular to Equation1, and passes through the point (E, A)

Task 3: Linear Function Modeling

For this task, you will be assigned a financial institution and an account type. For your assigned institution and account, record the monthly average interest rate over a period of 12 months.

Arrange your data in a table and clearly state what the name of the financial institution is and describe the type of account.
Using this information:

1. Create a plot for the interest rate over time

2. Find the linear equation that models the change in the interest rates over the 12 month period by:
a. Finding the value of the slope of the plotted data
