With the changing culture in the workplace and millennials becoming the primary cohort in the workforce, "Companies and leaders are starting to recognize the impact company culture has on employee retention. HR professionals are centering their strategies on how they can shift away from traditional taboos and create inclusive cultures to retain top talent" (Kurter, 2019, para. 3).

An example of an organization promoting self-expression is Air New Zealand, which got rid of its ban on employee tattoos in 2019. The company's CEO stated, "he was committed to liberating his employees across the company to express individuality or cultural heritage by proudly displaying their non-offensive tattoos while wearing their uniforms (Kurter, 2019, para. 6). Can you think of any other companies that are following suit?
