Question 1: Read about punishment in Chapter 7 and watch that section of my lecture. Pay attention to what I say about spanking. Then answer the following questions. Number them 1, 2. (10 points per question; -5 if they are not numbered),

1. How would you use punishment with children? Include an example of a behavior that you would punish and what punishment you would use. (apply what you learned)

1. You can choose either of the two types of punishment described in the class, but make sure you understand the definition. In your example, the punishment has to be used correctly as described in the text/my lecture. Ask questions if you're not sure about the definition of your chosen punishment.
2. You can say you wouldn't use punishment. If you do, include an example of a bad behavior and say what you would do instead of punishing.
3. If you add anything that isn't in the class (ok to do), you need a reference from a credible source (psychologist, psychology or university site, another expert in the field) and it has to be correct -- consistent with psychology knowledge.
