Using what you have learned in this unit, you will create a PowerPoint presentation that describes your ideal classroom environment given the scenario below.

You are a Preschool Teacher at Cher Bebe Academy in a rural Louisiana town. This year, you will be in charge of the 4- year-old group, which will consist of 15 children of various socioeconomic backgrounds. You see that you will have five Black children, five White children, and five children who identify as being multiracial. While all of your children speak English, you see that 7 of your students come from homes where the Cajun dialect of French is also spoken, which is not unusual for your location. Two of your students have hearing impairments. You will have two aides/para teachers assisting you throughout the year: Ms. Eula and Miss Juanita.

The Director of the Cher Bebe Academy, Mrs. Rene, has asked you to put together a short presentation that will show her your plan for the design of your classroom and how you plan to approach the year as a new teacher.

In your presentation, be sure to include slides that touch upon the following pieces of information:

Select the appropriate characteristics that are needed for you to create a healthy and safe classroom environment. (This is a great place to incorporate some helpful visual aids!)
How can you connect the design choices you have made for your classroom with your students' development? (In other words, how does this physical space you are envisioning support their development?)
What behaviors as a teacher will you plan to adopt in support of their development?
Your presentation should be at least five slides in length. If outside sources are used, please adhere to APA Style when creating citations and references for this assignment.
