Following the Adenoscan, the patient received 29 millicuries of technetium-99m Myoview intravenously. Rest images were obtained following the administration of 30.4 millicuries of technetium-99m Myoview intravenously. FINDINGS: Qualitative evaluation of Adenoscan stress and rest SPECT images demonstrates the presence of a predominantly fixed perfusion defect which involves the inferior/posterior wall of the left ventricle. That does extend onto the adjacent cardiac apex. That also extends onto the adjacent septal and lateral walls. Definite additional fixed or reversible perfusion defects are not seen on this examination.

IMPRESSION:

1. Large, predominantly fixed perfusion defect identified which involves the inferior/posterior wall of the left ventricle and extends onto the adjacent cardiac apex, lateral, and septal walls.

2. The computer-calculated left ventricular ejection fraction measures 38%.
