J.B. is a very pleasant 49-year-old African American female who came to see Dr. Alade for a comprehensive annual physical examination and was noted to have a rapid heart rate. ECG obtained at the clinic revealed arterial fibrillation with rate fluctuated 130 and 150s. J.B. denied history for prior palpitations. The patient reports that she felt lightheaded most of the time at work last night, and intermittently while enroute to the clinic. She denies visual changes, syncope, or headaches at the time of this assessment. She's negative for chest pain, pressure, and shortness of breath. No other concern for dizziness, focal numbness or weakness, speech difficulties, trouble swallowing or trouble moving all four extremities. No history for recent diarrhea, abdominal pain, or discomfort. She doesn't exercise regularly but performs cleaning tasks at home and works without any chest pressure or exertional dyspnea. She states her LMP was October 15, 2023.
