A manufacturer has two plants that produce the same product...Plant A and Plant B...Plant A has 60% of the total production and has a 5% defective rate...Plant B has 40% of the total production with a 7.5% defective rate.

1. What is the total defect rate? I came up with 6%

2. A randomly selected product was defective. What is the probability that it came from Plant A?
