Think through your experiences at school or at work with change caused by the pandemic as a recipient of change.
1. How did you respond to this change? Describe these key factors that would have influenced your response:
a. What was the change and how was it introduced? What was the rate of change?
b. What was the short-term impact on you? What has been the longer-term impact?
c. What was your initial reaction? Enthusiasm? "Wait and see" attitude? Ambivalence, due to conflicting reactions? Cynicism? Support? Resistance?
d. Did your attitudes change over time? Why or why not?
2. Can you describe any patterns to your response (has this happened before)? What might you be able to do to improve or strengthen your typical response to change?
3. When you find yourself dealing with matters of innovation and change, describe how you would typically react:
a. Do you find that you fall into the category of innovator or early adopter, readily considering and often adopting new approaches, well in advance of most people?

5. Using Strategies for Coping with Change in Table 7.5 on page 255, what is one (1) SMART goal for you as the recipient and one (1) SMART goal for your leader:
