He tilted his head until he saw the bull approaching quickly from the left, it is massive. Because the bull runs at him so rapidly the bullfighter dodges to the right of the barrels for cover. Every one of the thousands of audience members sighs with relief for the bullfighter is safe no one can believe it. Then cheers begin to waft down to the bullfighter because they are happy. Happiness, however, turns to disgust as the bull finds the bullfighter and gores him in the leg where he is behind the barrel. Blood spurts fifteen feet into the air until everyone in the front row is drenched, and they start shouting surprise they were not expecting the injury, which looks quite serious. The crowd's screams bring a quick response from the medics beneath the stadium waiting; they rush into the arena with a stretcher bandage and a blanket. They scream while the bullfighter is carried out of the arena bleeding from injuries that only the toughest can survive
