For this assessment, you are required to be a Program Manager wanting to engage in a collaborative alliance with a preferred partner using the scenario presented below. The tasks will require you to first initiate and draft a collaborative agreement adhering to both organisational policies and relevant legal requirements. Following this, you will develop a detailed plan to support the implementation of a collaborative agreement. Finally, you will be required to conduct a thorough review of a given collaborative agreement, ensuring it continues to offer value, and identify any potential areas for change or addition.

Scenario: Develop a partnership or alliance

You are currently the Program Manager for one (1) of the following choices:

Construction company
Social media company
Marketing company
Fashion label
Restaurant / Café.
You would like to develop a partnership or alliance with an existing company or business to increase your customer base. This can be done through a number or ways from marketing, sharing advertising costs, and/or sharing the costs of a project or event.

Once you have selected an area to focus in, you are to research one of the above categories, and then develop a Collaboration Agreement to submit to the intended company, as well as create the Implementation Plan. The partnership or alliance can include one (1) of the following categories:

Marketing
Advertising
Rewards programs
Events
Sponsorship.
Note: You may choose a specific industry or sector relevant to your interests but this must be done in consultation with and the approval of your trainer.

Part A: Identify opportunities for collaboration and develop collaborative alliances

Identify and evaluate opportunities for collaborative alliances according to organisational and program objectives
Research at least five (5) current collaborative alliances within your chosen sector. This could be partnerships, joint ventures, or collaborative projects.

make a report detailing:

Each alliance's objectives and the participating organisations.
Benefits and challenges faced by the collaboration. This should include researching relevant legal requirements pertaining to collaborative agreements in the chosen sector or industry.
How each alliance aligns (or doesn't align) with the organisational and program objectives of the given organisation.
Conclude the report with a recommendation: which type of collaborative alliance would be most beneficial for your organisation or program?
