You are the administrative assistant in an office where the office hours for the staff are 8:15 am to 5:00 pm. An assistant is chronically late, arriving 15-20 minutes after the assigned time each day. This employee performs her clinical tasks well and has a good rapport with the patients. She states she must always leave by 5:00 p.m. and is seldom late leaving for lunch. Friction is occurring amongst the staff. The dentist does not seem to be concerned.
