Read pages 546-547 in your textbook about how changes in information technology (IT) have transformed the travel planning industry. For this assignment, you will create a PowerPoint presentation at least eight slides in length (not counting the title and reference slides). Your PowerPoint presentation must address web-based travel services and their value to the customer. The question is, what is the value of these travel services?

Choose any web-based travel service that you want. Include information about the following aspects of the industry in your presentation:

• Identify how recent technology trends in IT and the computer industry have changed the travel planning industry.
• Describe the role of computer technology in the travel business and how this affects the travel industry becoming part of today's global economy.

Your PowerPoint presentation must address all of the following:

• The first slide must be a title slide that includes the title of the presentation, date, your name, and course name and number.
• The last slide must be a reference slide using APA formatting. You must include at least one graphic in this presentation.
• Use the speaker notes section to discuss your slide so that the reader may follow along.
• You must include at least one resource from the CSU Online Library and one other resource (which may be your textbook). Be sure to include in-text citations to properly cite your sources.
