• Locate 1 academic article and 1 popular press article in your policy area of interest.
• Compare and contrast the articles using the scientific inquiry concepts from Walliman.
o Why is the popular press article not considered scientific inquiry?
o What specific criteria make the journal article scientific inquiry?
o Include the ideas of Popper, Kuhn, and Feyerabend in your analysis.
• Relate your article to a specific approach to social research outlined in Walliman (e.g. positivist, interpretivist, etc.) and explain how your article fits within the approach you choose.
Section 2 - Research Questions: Once you have read and reviewed these articles, develop 2 sound research questions related to the topic of your articles using the research question criteria presented in this week's module. Explain how each question is scientific in nature and appropriate for scientific research.
