Team dynamics is positive factor in the accomplishment of professional goals. The following report analyzes a practical situation in which the team leader has taken ideal steps to keep the pressure away and use it positively to do the assigned task in time. The report also recommends how the work done by the team member can be used for motivational purposes.Introduction Group dynamics is one of the prime factors which is subjected to the effective working of the team.

There are several factors which work in fully functional mode, if the dynamism of the group has been maintained with effect. Professionals view the dynamism as a positive sphere where the chances of success in any project remain on the top because the perception of work at professional area becomes playful thing, if the dynamism of the group is perfectly shaped.

In the given cases study, the quality of leadership is at stake for the leader because he has to manage the conflicts-the chances of which to happen are prone-along with keeping the project work at pace without disclosing the real outcome of the same i.e. the balance of work in the group dynamism is directly related with the perforce of the individuals as team members. "Motivated workers are excited to contribute. Unmotivated workers, at best, do just enough to avoid criticism.

At worst, their lax attitudes lead to poor quality work, jeopardizing the success of the project. Use incentives to motivate your team to work together well. For example, announce that successful completion of the project ahead of its deadline will result in bonuses for all. Such motivations encourage team members to support each other." (Mack, 2017)The Case Background At first, the background of the case opens up several horizons of discussion.

Chris is having a team of four working on the project X including him as the team leader. Their team is specially working on the developing of skills in the highly performing team members. Now, there are two to three things which Chris is confronting in terms of managing the team dynamics. Deadline is something that every client prefers to be met out.

The earlier the job is done, the more opportunities of having work from the same client increase. However, for Chris, the main motto of work is to show how the team is put together and how they have maintained the good repo of team based working. Later, while the project X is still going on, the client gives leverage to the team's organization. In a personal meeting, the boss informs to Chris that he has been offered a handsome amount as ‘incentive' which might be a great asset to the company in the near future.

This incentive will be give only if the work done by the team of Chris is before deadline. Chris is also said to distribute the incentives with his team members as they will receive their own shares-1,000 AUD-per member. The point of concern for Chris here is to keep this proposal hidden and let the work go on but he has to pace the things up with his team as well. The same scenario has been put abruptly, though not indirectly; in the next integral meeting with the team members whose names are Kurt, Nassuro, and Luojin.

General Analysis of the Condition and Team Motivation In the first meeting with the team, Chris appreciated how the work was done by them and how much they have excelled in their performances because appreciation was the best thing which he could introduce at first to motivate the team members to work faster than before on the project X. Chris also maintained the dignity of the team leader and did not disclose the fact that the team was offered an incentive at the end of project, if it was done well within the deadline. However, he adopted a tricky way to let the members guess.

It was more like a hint which was given to the motivational aspect and possibility of having good work done in less time. Chris told the team members that the top management was happy with the work of the team and they were planning to award the efforts of all three members respectively. He announced that there will be something ‘surprising' at the end of the project for all of them. As a token of respect, the company will be doing this job for the team members. However, a discussion began taking shape after this announcement in the meeting.

Kurt stated that they will be getting some salary hike or a raised commission after the work will be done, while the other two agreed with what Kurt had stated. Chris understood that it was the right time to introduce the point of doing the work in time so, he inferred the meaning of finishing the jobs in time i.e. he asked directly to Kurt whether he just believed in providing quality project work or he also believed in the theory that if they can manage it doing in the less time, it will make their repo go high next time and they might be kept together as a team in some high value project next time in the future. "Communication is vital for a successful project.

The project leader must give directions and advice clearly to ensure the team understands its task, and the team must feel comfortable relaying problems and inquiries to each other and the manager. Project managers who keep the lines of communication open create a flexible team that reacts to challenges quickly and precisely.

Ineffective project managers, such as those who offer unclear directions and little constructive feedback, create a sluggish atmosphere that inhibits performance." (MCK, 2017)At this point of time, everyone of the team member responded promptly; Kurt and other two said that managing time would be great; however, they were concerned about the upcoming Christmas celebrations.

The deadline of the project was near the Christmas holidays. Chris sensed the urgency in the matter and used it fully in order to convince his team members to do the task even before the deadline so that they can get some extra leverage of time to spend with their respective families.

Everyone in the team agreed to this point, taking the perception that the upcoming incentive will be used in making the Christmas celebrations with the family-though it was not mentioned anywhere in the meeting by Chris that the team members were about to get stakes and good reward if the work was done in time.Recommendations To conclude, the working style of Chris is better and he is not expected to provide that ‘extra pressure to his team mates. It would give downfall to their performance in the hope that if they finish the work in time, they will get that additional reward which is not disclosed by him to them.

It is likely possible that Chris uses their abilities and manipulates them as a leader but ultimately, his action will be justified because he will be becoming the medium between the organization and the members to give them what they deserved. It is also recommended that Chris should maintain the same working parameters by idealizing the visions of quality work and asking the team to work on the same with effect. form this into a presentation and in the form of power point presentation.
