Since this is a short paper, you will have to be very concise with your argument and presentation.

The Government of Canada and the various Provincial Governments are working hard to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic. Please analyse the government's initial response to this crisis from the point of view of justified self interest.

1. Your paper should have a section (at least one paragraph having at least three hundred words) which argues that the government's approach is justified self interest in nature, and give examples to support that position.

2. Then you should have another section (at least one paragraph having at least three hundred words) which takes the opposite point of view, that the response is driven by a different ethical and moral viewpoint.

3. Finally, your concluding paragraph should indicate which point of view you agree with (or perhaps, a third point of view that reflects your beliefs having at least three hundred words) ). Justify your choice based on the evidence you have presented.
