Your task
Individually, you are required to prepare a 2000-word strategic business plan in proposal format for an ASX-listed company to facilitate its expansion from Australia into an international market, using the company and recommended country from the first assessment.
Assessment Description
The assessment will assess students' ability to analyse strategic opportunities in a global context by considering the process of entering and operating in international markets and the ethical implications that arise.
Assessment Instructions
Using the work you've produced in the first assessment and in consideration of the feedback you've received, prepare a strategic business proposal that captures the following sections:
A summary of the company's current strategic position
the organisation's strategy, including the stakeholders, objectives, target market, and positioning, is based on the analysis you produced in the first assessment.
Analysis of the organisation's approach to:
Market entry strategy
Global value and supply change management
Financial strategy
International marketing strategy
Ethical implications
N.B.: Incorporate content learned from weeks 1 to 8 into your analysis.
Recommendations that determine areas of focus and opportunities, such as innovation as an example, to enhance the organisation's performance in the future with specific reference to the country of choice.
Reference list
You must use at least ten (10) sources of information. These may include websites, social media sites, industry reports, census data, journal articles, and newspaper articles. These references should be presented as in-text citations and a reference list at the end of your slides. Wikipedia and other ‘popular' sites are not to be used.
