Assessment Task
You are required to critically analyse a case study utilising theories of creativity, innovation and the entrepreneurial mindset. You must draw on their essential concepts and link them to the case study to support your discussion and any recommendations.
Context
Innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship can come in many different forms and be successful for many reasons.
Being able to understand creative entrepreneurship is a valuable skill often sought in today's society. One way to broaden a person's understanding of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship is to critically evaluate a case study. This is what you will be doing in this first assessment.
Instructions
To complete this assessment task, follow these steps:
Review the topics and content from The Entrepreneurial Perspective module.
Critically analyse the case study, which will be provided to you in Week 1 of study.
Conduct research on the case study. Remember to save the information sources/references accordingly.
Prepare a business-style report. Your report must address the following points:
How does the case study specifically demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset?
How does the case study show a creative and innovative approach to meeting a customer's need?
Appraise if and how Ethical Responsibility and Sustainability (ERS) is addressed in the case study.
Report Structure

Introduction - Outline the purpose and structure of your case study analysis report.
Background - Provide an introduction and overview of the case study.
Main discussion - Clearly address all three questions listed in step 4 of the Instructions
section.
Recommendations - Provide a clear and creative set of recommendations. Is there anything that you think could have been done differently? Can you see a potential future opportunity that could be explored?
Conclusion - Briefly synthesise the main points in the report. The conclusion section must remind the reader what the report is about.
References - Your case study analysis report must use at least four (4) references (e.g., journal articles, book chapters, textbooks, conference papers, company websites, newspaper articles, government websites, consultants' reports, etc). Include a reference list at the end of the report and use appropriate APA referencing. Each reference in your reference list must be cited in-text in your report. The reference list at the end of the report is not included in the total word count. Please ensure that your references are high quality, credible and relevant. Do not use Wikipedia or similar sources.
Tips and Advice
Write the case study analysis report in first person.
You must support your arguments with reference to relevant theories, concepts and research in the prescribed module.
Referencing
It is essential that you use current APA style for citing and referencing the sources that you use.
