Purpose
The purpose of this assessment is to allow students to work as individuals, analyse and reflect on a real-life case study. It is an opportunity to address the unit learning outcomes of the unit:
synthesize the research and real-life practice of international business and management with respect to advise to a group of stakeholders dealing with a range of business issues.
demonstrate an understanding of business practice and research in the context of globalization from managements' perspective.
Individual Reflection Assignment Guidelines
You are an entrepreneur of a growing successful business firm read the article attached entitled "Aristosourcing's stories". Have a personal reflection on the article. Review and identify the core business fundamental processes and associated transactions of organisations operating in the Digital Age. Working independently, you are to demonstrate awareness and self-reflection of business processes that enable a firm to succeed in a competitive environment. During personal reflection, you can read personal reflections from leading global successful entrepreneurs. Among these global leading entrepreneurs identify your role model to act as your mentor.
Assignment structure specifications required as a single word doc:
Part 1: Your overview of your firm including: name of the firm, log, industry of the firm and the products or services you offer.
Note: Your firm may not be real but could be a firm you think you can start after graduating from Holmes institute.
Part 2: Review the article and identify the core business fundamental requirements that you must possess as a successful business entrepreneur.
Part 3: Reflect and identify the core business processes associated with your firm that have made your business successful.
Part 4: Reflect on your business model entrepreneur. Comment on the attributes you could emulate from your model entrepreneur that you believe could make you become a successful global business entrepreneur.
Part 5: Reflecting on your firm, identify the global challenges that your business encountered from January 2026 to date.
Part 6: Reflect on your business leadership skills. Explain how these skills have enabled you to overcome your challenge.
