Classification of animation process – cad and cam, Computer Graphics

Assignment Help:

Consequently some methods are utilized to handle this huge information and these methods are termed as animation process that are classified as:

First Method: In this method, the artist creates a succession of cartoon frames that are then combined into a film.

Second Method: This time, the physical models are positioned to the image to be recorded. While completion, the model moves to the subsequent image for recording and this method is continued. Hence the historical approach of animation has categorized computer animation into two major categories:

(a) Computer-Assisted Animation generally refers to 2-dimentaional systems which computerize the traditional animation process. This time, the technique utilized is interpolation between key shapes that is the only algorithmic utilize of the computer in the assembly of this kind of animation equation, curve morphing as key frames, interpolation, velocity control and image morphing.

(b) Computer Generated Animation is the animation represented through film or video that is again based upon the concept of persistence of vision since the eye- brain produces a sequence of images and interprets them like a continuous movement and whether the rate of change of pictures is fairly fast then it makes the sensation of continuous motion.
