Write the meaning of Life Style Modification (LSM)

Life style modification means diet control and doing exercises. Diet control and exercise should be planned on individual basis. Patients should be counselled properly, in order to modify and continue taking modified diet and to do exercise on regular basis. Counselling of the patient is very important because patient has to continue taking modified diet and do exercises for his entire life. Hence it is important to motivate the patient for LSM so that patient's blood sugar is under control.
