What is programmable interrupt controller?
The Programmable interrupt controller is used when several I/O devices transfer datausing interrupt and they are connected to the same interrupt line of the microprocessor.
Execution Unit receives program instruction codes and data from BIU, implements these instructions and store the result in general registers.
