Idea Screening:

The procedure of screening. The idea along with the greatest potential are selected for future review. Throughout screening, product ideas are analysed to find out whether they match to organizations goals and resources.

When a product idea results into a product that is similar to the forms existing products, marketers should assess the degree to that the new product could multiply the sales of recent products. The company’s overall capability to create and market product are analysed also. Other aspects of a concept that must be weighed are the nature and needs of buyers and possible environmental modifies. At a time a checklist of new products needs is used while making screening decisions. When compared with other phases largest number of New Product Ideas is rejected throughout the screening phase.
