What is Dividing Fractions?

If you want to divide two fractions, you invert the second fraction (that is, turn it upside-down) and change the division sign to a multiplication sign:

7/8 + 3/5 = 7/8 x5/3 = 35 /24
Remember that you always invert the second fraction, not the first!
