What is Centrifugal Force?
Centrifugal force is the force that is equivalent in magnitude but opposite in direction to the centripetal force, which is the force directed toward the center of a rotating or revolving mass.
Think of it this way. Let's say you have a yo-yo and let it unwind. Then you begin swinging it around your head in a circle parallel to the ground. The force that keeps the yo-yo in its circular path is the centripetal force. Without it, the yo-yo would not continue in its circular path but would fly off in a straight line, which it is inclined to do. The tension in the string, the force that makes the string taut, is the centrifugal force.
Distinguish among diamagnetic and ferromagnetic materials in respect of their (i) intensity of magnetisation, (ii) behaviour in a non-uniform magnetic field and (iii) susceptibilit
Explain physically how a p-n junction functions as a rectifier. Ans: When a P-N junction diode is forward-biased and applied voltage is increased from zero, hardly any current
When we move from a positive charge towards an equal negative charge along the line joining the two then initially potential reduces in magnitude and at centre changes into zero, b
Moderation: In a nuclear reactor, the fast moving neutron has to be slowed down by the use of Boron rods before they are able to cause further fission. The process of slowing d

Im having trouble understanding these,, could someone explain them in lamens terms
HYSTERESIS LOOP: A ferromagnetic material retains some magnetism after the magnetising force is removed. The BH curve (O to Q) will therefore only be followed once, on initial
Explain the Merits of Vacuum Diode over Semiconductor Diode (i) Vacuum Diodes can withstand high reverse voltages (ii) Vacuum Diodes can operate at fairly high temperature
