What do you understand by WWW?

WWW (World Wide Web):

It is an architectural framework for accessing linked documents outspread over thousands of machines the whole world. This is basically a client server system.

Technically this refers to the Hypertext servers which allow text, graphics and sound files to be mixed together.
Loosely this refers to all kinds of resources which can be accessed.
