Q. What do you mean by Levelling Procedure?

The Surveyor shall calculate required field adjustment in module elevation based on data from survey in conjunction with corresponding data from the FAS survey data. The calculations shall be the basis for alignment and calculation of elevation difference that must be made up through the use of shim packs, levelling plates and/or weld stud nut adjustments as required to match field tie-in locations.

If required, the four corner pile caps shall be scribed and punch marked with the exact centreline in each direction. Punch marking and scribing shall be on top of shear bar or top of pile cap if shears have not been installed.

Top of pile caps including levelling plates shall be thoroughly cleaned to remove all oil, grease, dirt, foreign matter, etc., prior to placing shim plates on piles.
